The pods have been small, they seem to be travelling in one’s and two’s.  Nearly every day we have had breaching whales and some days the whales have come to the boat to have a good look at us and some days they just keep swimming along - as whales do.

We’ve been out every day possible and have seen whales on every single trip - it is so fantastic to see the humpbacks back in our waters again, they are a true delight.  By the end of this coming week, we should be seeing several pods on each cruise, last week we were seeing two or three pods during the cruises, this will only increase to a spectacular showing right through until October now.

Seeing plenty of last year’s calves, these are the one’s mostly breaching.  Plenty of tail lobing and rolling over going on - great to see.  We have also been seeing plenty of Common and Bottlenose Dolphins, they have been a real bonus and everyone loves the Dolphins.
