Coolangatta/Tweed Heads Whale Watch Mon 8th and Tues 9th September 08

Monday bought very calm conditions, no wind, no swell and plenty of sunshine and plenty of whales – ALL RESTING !! we spotted 6 pods all slowly moving south with no activity, they were just coasting along, then we spotted an active pod and off we went and were delighted with a breaching whale who rolled over giving us a great show – I suppose every whale needs a rest day !!

Tuesday bought sloppy seas but FANTASTIC whales – we had double breaching, tail lobbing, pectoral fin slapping, two whales joining us nice and close to the boat, to the delight of all on board – a great day out !!  Still 100% SUCCESS no misses in 2 years !!!  Whales every day.

No calves yet – patiently waiting their arrival !!
