Whale Watching Coolangatta/Tweed Heads Tues 16th Sept 08

No trip on Monday, too windy.

Today, Tuesday a nice day on the Gold Coast Water, warm weather is upon us.  The whales were hard to find today, the smoke haze didn’t make it easy for us.  We eventually came across a cow and our first calf – yeh ha !! with an escort travelling south slowly.  We travelled miles looking for whales, but patience paid off with our excellent find.  We are now just in the early stages of the calves coming through – how exciting.
