Well here it is nearly March and summer is quickly coming to an end. Autumn is knocking on our door and guess what comes after that – The Whales !!! I am getting so exciting at their imminent arrival here on the Gold Coast I can hardly wait. Coolangatta will play host once again to the magnificant Humpback Whales on their Northern Migration to the Whitsunday region to give birth and mate.
Only a few minutes motoring off Coolangatta we will encounter female humpbacks heavily pregnant, other cows with their one year old calves making their way for the first time, male humpbacks making their way to the mating grounds the ocean will be alive with excitement – how very lucky are we to be able to enjoy such beauty in it’s natural state?
The Gold Coast Whale Watching Season commences on the 1st June and the season goes thru until the end of October each year. Whale Watching Cruises run every single day and we guarantee 100% that you will see these magnificant gentle giants of the sea on every trip – for the past four years we have not missed seeing the whales – join us for an experience of a life time.
But until June we are enjoying another adventure – Diving !!! We are currently diving off Moreton Bay Island. The diving is magnificant off Tangalooma Reef plenty of wrecks to view and oodles of fish and turtles to delight us.
