Our Boat

boat3Licensed for 30 divers. The largest charter boat operating off The Gold Coast in the Coolangatta / Tweed Heads area. Full NSW and Qld 1C Survey. The boat is moored with easy access and plenty of parking.

Large, stable rear deck for easy movement with plenty of room for all your gear. Full toilet facilities inside the cabin area. Morning tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit and donuts supplied on all charters with lunch on full day charters.

The Skipper and Crew are Tony, Carol and Zac who are a husband, wife and son team. We own the business. Tony and Zac are licensed PADI instructors,First Aid Trainers and Master 5 Med 3 Skipper, Carol is an Advanced Diver with a Coxswains Certificate. We completely understand all the needs and requests of any diver.

Whale Watcher is equipped with all safety gear, first aid kits, O2 Kit, 5 meter hang bar, easy access in and out of the water with stairs and surface supplied twin occy’s

All the dive sites around the Tweed / Coolangatta area have an abundance of pelagic fish and a wide variety of sea life that are attracted to the marine sanctuary off Cook Island and the surrounding coral reefs situated at a variety of depths. Dive sites are relatively close off Shore. Cook Island offers sheltered waters and is nearly diveable all year round.
