Climb aboard ‘Whale Watcher’ for a great day out fishing with your mates.

‘Whale Watcher’ is a stable 50 ft cat with new twin 420’s Cummins engines, built for speed and comfort, ensuring a quick and safe ride out to the fish.

‘Whale Watcher’ is the largest fishing vessel on the southern end of the Gold Coast. So you’ll be fishing in comfort, with plenty of room to walk around on all decks.  There’s also a very large undercover deck, inside toilet, cabin with lounge area and kitchenette.

Licensed for 14 fishermen in NSW, so you’re guaranteed plenty of room to move when you are fishing.

The Crew

Tony has been a fishermen for most of his life and loves it! He is passionate about his fishing, the boat and customers and nothing is too much trouble.  He has a vast amount of experience in the commercial fishing industry having worked out of Eden, Merimbula and Port Macquarie since 2000.

The Tackle

Shimano gear, no handlines, rod pockets available.
No Fishing License required.
We have the latest electronic equipment for ‘game charters’
Light to heavy tackle.
A ‘game chair’ for when you hook that ‘big one’!

The Fishing

Billfish, Cobia, Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Pearl Perch, Snapper, Mullaway, Parrot Fish, Flathead, Kingfish, Leather Jackets, Mowong and more…

The boat works on a ‘shared catch’ basis.

What to Bring

Your sea legs, a hat, sunscreen, an esky to take all your fish home in!!! Bring your own refreshments if you like.
And anything else special you may need. A Camera and deal with sea sickness by visiting your chemist

How to get there

The Coolangatta / Tweed Golf Club is about a 10 minute drive from Coolangatta on the highway towards Ballina.
