Over the many years we have whale watched up and down the East Coast of Australia we have come across some very beautiful people who have just loved their trip out to see the whales with us and some of them take the time to write us an email or letter to say thank you and for some, it has changed their life and thinking and here are some of those letters.
We greatly appreciate these letters and any photo’s that people may capture, I personally, feel like I have done something really special for these people and given them something special to remember. I have shared my passion and they have enjoyed it thoroughly.
Subject: awesome Tuesday
Message: Hi Carol and Tony,
Just had to write and thank you for an awesome day last Tuesday 28/6/11, we saw so many whales breaching, tail slapping and just playing so near to the boat it was incredible. You also made it a great day with your friendliness and hospitality, we hope to come back again in August to see them (and you) again.
Regards John Sue and Jill ;-) thank you John, Sue and Jill – Carol
Hi Carol
Thank you very much for the photos. They are great. I just got back from the gold coast and already miss it.I had a wonderful time watching the Whales on your boat. I’ve done other whale watching trips but this one was definitely the best.
I’ll definitely be doing your trip again next time i’m up there. Have a great time

Hi Carol & Tony
Just a quick note to thank you both very much for your very kind hospitality. We had a fabulous time and I in particular was awe inspired having witnessed such a wonder of nature. We were also very impressed with the very professional and fun way in which you run your business. I have always worked in the ‘people’ business and understand that you have to have very high standards to be successful. We will certainly be promoting you at every opportunity.
Thank you once again (and I didn’t even feel yukkie – must have been the drugs!)
Kind Regards
Jackie & Lloyd Collingwood
Carol,
I would just like to thank you for a perfect day on Wednesday. It was the most awesome experience, and I have been telling everyone I can about it. The photos in the Daily News today were great, but not as good as actually being there. Your crew are great and the atmosphere on the boat was fantastic. (Even if Kasey, my daughter was ill) Thanks again from myself and my kids, I will be trying to get out again next year.
All the best for the rest of the season. Karenne Night Manager Blue Waters Motel.
Thanks for a fabulous day yesterday. I am so glad we decided to go with you because I felt so safe. Although we did not see as many “sightings” as I would have liked, the dolphins made up for them and the day was perfect.
Thanks a million

“The tour operators were nice and friendly and their commentaries were good. The boat was just the right size and comfortable even though people standing in front kept getting the big splash! I was up the front, the upstairs section of the boat and I think that was the best spot.
They tried hard to find whales, and we only found one, but he was a young playful one, and entertained us well. It was brilliant!
It gets very windy and splashy, dress in warm, wind protecting clothing.”

Hello Tony & Carol My family thoroughly enjoyed the tour on Aquatic Blue yesterday. The weather was perfect, the crew were friendly, and the whales were a delight!
It was a real joy to get out on the water with my family and see such beautiful creatures up close. I will certainly recommend your boat to my friends.
Many thanks Kelly Cabarita Beach
Hi Carol and Tony,
We just wanted to say Thanks so much for a terrific day out yesterday. Our party (which kept growing by the day) were highly impressed with the whale tour. How were the whales?! They put on a great show for us yesterday, and so many options we didn’t know where to look at one point. I even got my own private show off the back. No one else was looking and these two big whales breaches one after the other. I looked around for someone to say, did you see that? And no one was there. Hehehe, just for me then! Fantastic. Cpt Carol Sparrow, we have attached a photo of you in your authentic Johnny Depp, Cpt. Jack Sparrow hat. You look perfect in it!
Thanks again to all for a terrific day out!
Cheers

Hi
I’m Maddie and I’m 9 years old. I went out on your boat on June the 30th. I just wanted to say that it was impeccableto see whales up that close and see them do all the tricks without anyone saying what to do!! I never knew that a whale could hear a boat just by someone talking! To tell you the truth I was a little nervous that a whale might come andtip the boat over but once I Knew that they couldn’t I wasn’t worried. I have never been out on a whaling boat before but if I do again I think yours would be the best!! I got some spectacular footage of the whales and you on the boat and I want to show it to everyone in my family.
Thanks for everything you did.

Chronicle, you would have read about a female humpback whale who had
become entangled in a spider web of crab traps and lines. She was
weighted down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused her to
struggle to stay afloat. She also had hundreds of yards of line rope
wrapped around her body, her tail, her torso, a line tugging in her
mouth. A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farallon Islands (outside the Golden Gate) and radioed an environmental group for
help. Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was so bad off, the only way to save her was to dive in and untangle her.
They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her. When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, and nudged them, pushed them gently
around as she was thanking them. Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives. The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth said her eyes were following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.
May you, and all those you love, be so blessed and fortunate to be surrounded by people who will help you get untangled from the things that are binding you.
And, may you always know the joy of giving and receiving gratitude. I pass this on to you, my friends, in the same spirit.
